Unit Substations

Unit substations are designed to step down utility voltages (Primary) to distribution voltages (Secondary). These substations can be manufactured for indoor or outdoor applications. The substation consists of three main components, primary electrical distribution equipment, three phase power transformer and secondary electrical distribution equipment. Many commercial, industrial users incorporate the sub on a single platform or a unitized unit substation.
